The current rate for property tax is 7.55 mills plus 1 mill for fire services equaling 8.55 mills for the borough, 4.73 mills for the County and 20.96 mills for the McKeesport Area School District.

GARBAGE COLLECTION
The Borough contracts exclusively with Waste Management. To start, stop or questions, please call 1-800-866-4460 or visit their website at www.wm.com. Tuesday is the scheduled day for garbage collection. They also offer an “At Your Door Special Collection” to dispose of electronic devices, household hazardous waste, etc. For this service, you must call 1-800-449-7587 to schedule a pickup date or email them ATYOURDOOR@WM.COM.
